Coctail Mint Julep #2

Ingredients : 45 ml (1.5 oz) brandy;45 ml (1.5 oz) peach brandy;45 ml (1.5 oz) simple syrup;5 or 6 stems of fresh mint, for garnish;1 pineapple spear, for garnish

Instructions : Cut straws so that they are approximately 2 inches taller than the serving glass. Add crushed ice to julep cup or a collins glass until it is 2/3 full. Add the bourbon, brandy, peach brandy and syrup, and stir for ten to twenty seconds. Add more crushed ice and stir again until a thin layer of ice forms on the outside of the glass, then add more crushed ice so that it domes slightly over the rim of the glass. Garnish with the fresh mint stems and pineapple spear, and insert the straws. Serve with a cocktail napkin to catch the condensation.
